Assaggio's owner, Phil Barbarito, has had a passionate love affair with food all his life. Since childhood, he has embraced his Italian heritage, cooking in the kitchen with his grandmother. Mr Barbarito has had experience in the restraunt business for over 17 years on both the east and west coasts. After attending Arizona State University, he decided to celebrate his knowledge of Northern Italian cuisine and of wine at his own fine dining establishment, Assaggio. His young and vibrant staff shares his enthusiasm for the industry and is eager to perfect your dining experience, catering to your individual tates and needs. Phil's passion for food is only rivaled by his love for his family, some of whom work by his side, all with the same goal... to make your dining experience memorable as part of the Assaggio family.

Lenny's Indian Head Inn: Lenny’s has been the favorite dinning and watering hole for locals, visitors and yachters since 1968. Their wonderful menu features lobsters (steamed, broiled or stuffed), steamers, clams and oysters on the half-shell or fried, swordfish, and mouth watering steaks and prime rib dinners. They also serve burgers, dogs, chowder, seafood bisque, salads, buffalo wings and Uncle Lloyd’s famous ribs. Su Casa Mexican Restaurant: Su Casa has been Branford's favorite Mexican restaurant since 1974. We've been voted Best Mexican Food by Connecticut Magazine and The Advocate for numerous years. We've also been featured on "TV Diner" with Billy Costa and awarded a Gold Plate.
